Long transfer day towards Tanzania

Getting acquainted with the staff and the vehicles.

Welcome breakfast

Maasai plain crossing until Namanga, where we will pass through the frontier. Then, we will take the route that skirts around Kilimandjaro and which will drive us to Arusha.

ARUSHA - MANIARA

Visit of Manyara Lake Park

It is possible to approach the elephants very closely in this park and, very luckily, to observe lions sleeping in the trees.

TUESDAY

MANIARA - NGONROGORO

Transfer to the Lodge of Ngonrogonro

Arrival in the middle of the afternoon in the area of conservation of Ngonrogonro in Maasaï land.

WEDNESDAY

NGONROGONRO - MANIARA

Descent in Ngonrogonro Crater

Natural crater of volcanic origin and 23 km wide where many species live. There is a difference of altitude of 600 m between the ridge of the ring and the bottom of the crater where we can find a lake and a forest. It is one of the most wonderful sites of the whole East Africa.

Visit of Tarangire Park

Park crossed by the Tarangire river where the elephants, in particular, come and drink.

AMBOSELI - AMBOSELI

Safari day in Amboseli Park

For the early risers, it is possible to enjoy a wonderful view on the Kilimandjaro, which will not let Hemingway’s readers insensitive.

Breakfast in the camp.

Very early safari: observation of animals early in the morning.

Lunch in the camp (between the 2 safaris)

Safari in the middel of the afternoon

Dinner and evening around the fire.

MONDAY

AMBOSELI - NAMANGA

Back to Namanga

Safari until the exit of the park, then track until Namanga
